Joslyn & The Sweet Compression (4:50-6:20 PM)

Joslyn’s strong vocals deliver an exciting mix of funk, soul and R&B.  The band promises to give an energetic live performance that will have everyone grooving to old favorites and fresh new tunes. “Magical… gives everybody the joy.” Billboard Magazine

Of Good Nature (6:40-8:10 PM)

 Offering a fusion-rich tapestry of grooves and lyrics that blend alternative, soul, folk, world, and rock into an irresistible whole, Of Good Nature is sure to leave an impression. Their music is marked by soulful vocals, technical drumming, and brass harmonies that soar, resulting in a sound that’s both grounded in its songwriting roots and refreshingly innovative. Of Good Nature’s unique ability to fuse genres, channel positive energy, and deliver technically brilliant performances has positioned them as rising stars in the music world.

Shwayze (8:30-10:00 PM)

A top 10 album, Billboard chart-topping singles, and more adorn Shwayze's impressive resume. Hailing from Malibu, California, Aaron Smith, is a hip-hop/alternative rapper known to the world as Shwayze.  Early popular favorites like “Buzzin’” and “Corona and Lime” are crowd pleasers, but he continues to create new music.  Shwayze keeps expanding his fanbase by constantly touring, collaborating with other artists and releasing new albums in 2022 and 2024.

*Charlie West Music Fest is for a good cause! It's hosted by Fund for the Arts, and is our largest fundraiser. We raise money to provide crucial annual operating support to 11 local arts groups: Charleston Ballet, Charleston Chamber Music Society  Charleston Civic Chorus, Charleston Light Opera Guild, Children’s Theatre, Clay Center, Friends of Old Time Music and Dance, River City Youth Ballet, West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, West Virginia Youth Symphony Orchestra, and womanSong. 

*What your ticket includes: Like other music festivals, your ticket gains you entry to the event which means 7 hours of fantastic music on the lovely lawn at the University of Charleston. Once inside, any food and drink sales will be separate transactions. The revenue from our ticket sales goes towards the costs of our musicians and venue.

*You will be required to present a valid ID at the main gate during check-in.  Your ID must match the name on the ticket.

*Free wristbands for admission of children age 12 and under, if accompanied by a paying adult, will be available at the main gate.

*If you need to bring a diaper bag, large purse, backpack or similar, please expect to have your item searched prior to admission. 

*Small coolers (10 quart size or smaller) with ice or snacks WILL be permitted into the event after they have been searched. Due to liability purposes, no beverages of any kind OTHER THAN SEALED WATER BOTTLES may be brought into the event.

*Chairs and blankets ARE allowed.

*Tents and pets are NOT permitted into the festival. Thank you for understanding!
