Vote to crown "Best Cocktail in Town"

How it works:

Attendees will receive one signature cocktail and one tapas/appetizer-style food when visiting each venue. *Attendees will have the option to substitute a house wine/beer for the cocktail.

Check-in at any participating location and receive a voting card. At the end of the night, using a QR code on the voting card, you will submit your vote for best cocktail and best appetizer.

***All participants will be required to show a valid ID when checking-in. Please note that because this event involves alcoholic beverages, you must be at least 21 years old to purchase a ticket and attend. ***

Cocktail: Pomegranate whiskey maple smash

Appetizer: Bacon blue and apple butter grilled cheese

Cocktail: Tito's bloody bisque

Appetizer: Potato encrusted cod with chive lemongrass leek cream. Topped with gouda parmesan, sage butter, and balsamic glaze.

Cocktail: A Play on a French 75

Appetizer: Street corn mixture, encrusted crab cake, drizzled in blueberry siracha lemon sauce

Cocktail: Blackberry margarita

Appetizer: Stuffed poblano pepper with cream cheese, cheddar, brisket, garlic butter, blackberry BBQ sauce, and topped with pico de gallo

Who does this event support?

Fund for the Arts hosts events such as Capital Cocktail Classic to raise funds to support our 11 member art groups. Our mission is to provide "One Gift for All the Arts," and by donating to our cause and attending our events you support: Charleston Ballet, Charleston Chamber Music Society, Charleston Civic Chorus, Charleston Light Opera Guild, Children’s Theatre, Clay Center, Friends of Old Time Music and Dance, River City Youth Ballet, West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, West Virginia Youth Symphony Orchestra, and WomanSong.

I consent to the use by Fund for the Arts, its directors, officers, agents, representatives, employees, volunteers and partners of photographs and video recordings made of me while attending and participating in the Capital Cocktail Classic without further compensation or acknowledgement by me, and agree that all such materials, including negatives or digital data, are the sole property of Fund for the Arts, its directors, officers, agents, representatives, employees, volunteers and partners.
